A contract exists because there is a client. An email exists because there is a person. A report exists because there is a project. We build Objentra so that you can follow the people and matters you care about, and let the software keep track of the paperwork.
Our story
Why we started.
Most of us don't lose files. We lose the thread. The answer is in a PDF from March, a voice memo from a call, a reply buried in an email chain, and the only thing connecting them is a name we have to remember.
Every app we tried asked the same thing of us: decide where each file goes, or rewrite it all as notes. Neither matched how work actually happens. Work happens around people, clients, cases and projects. The files are just where it's written down.
So we built the opposite. Objentra leaves your files where they are, in their own formats, and gives every person, organization, project, event and idea a page that gathers everything about them, with a link to the exact page, line or second where they appear.
Objentra runs on your computer, works without an account, and is free for everything you do by hand. Pro adds AI that finds the connections for you, and shows its work.
What we believe
Five promises we design by.
People before paperwork.
You should be able to start from who a matter is about, not from where a file was saved. Every feature we build answers one question: does it make the people and matters in your work easier to follow?
Your files are yours.
They stay in your folders, in their own formats, readable by any other app. Nothing is locked in a proprietary database. If Objentra disappeared tomorrow, every file would still open.
Private by default.
Objentra works on your computer. We don't run a cloud that holds your work, and we can't read what you sync. Your files never leave your computer unless you choose to send them.
AI that shows its work.
AI in Objentra suggests; you decide. Every suggestion carries the sentence that proves it, every action is recorded, and anything can be undone. You choose which model runs and where.
Independent.
Objentra is funded by the people who use it, not by investors or advertisers. Pro pays for its development, so we answer to you. Standard stays free, for good.
The team
A small team. Every email read.
Objentra is a young startup, started in August 2026. It is led by Dung Vu, our CEO and founder, who has built software for people and businesses in Europe and the United States for 15 years, and Huong Hoang, our CMO, with 10 years in software marketing. We're completing the paperwork to found our own company in Frankfurt, Germany.
The rest of the team are young developers with plenty of drive. We want to put what we can do to work for everyone, and make people's lives a little easier. Small on purpose: no investors to please, no data to sell, just software worth paying for.
Pro is sold through Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record, which handles payment, sales tax, invoices and refunds.
